Matt has spent more than a decade scaling complex businesses at Goldman Sachs, Uber and WeWork. He’s active in the startup community as an advisor, angel investor, and board member.

His career started at Goldman Sachs, where he designed operational strategies for the firm’s largest clients and built complex trading infrastructure across their derivatives business.

At Uber, he was a general manager in New York and one of the company’s earliest employees. Matt oversaw operations, marketing, and public affairs across the Northeast, managed a $100m+ budget and led expansion into New Jersey, Connecticut, Long Island, and Upstate New York.

His most recent role was at WeWork scaling the Labs program across the US and Canada, building the world’s largest startup ecosystem. He also ran business operations for WeWork’s flexible office space and digital products, overseeing finance, strategy, and data analytics.

Outside of work, Matt is the Founding Board Chair for Kindwork, which helps young adults from overlooked communities launch new careers in the innovation economy. He is also a mentor at American Corporate Partners, where he works with veterans entering the civilian workforce. In his spare time, Matt enjoys skiing, hiking, fishing, and just about anything else that gets him outdoors.
